COSMETOLOGY: PERM 9 SECTIONS FOR STATE BOARD

State Board Perm/Cold Wave Procedure requires 9 or 12 sections. Sections have to be neat, and are used for control. Always measure with the perm rod before sectioning. Make sure the side sections are wide enough above the ear; if they are too narrow, it creates larger crown/back section, which becomes harder to section.
