Haircutting Shears and Scissors: All about
Never set your shears down do not have the points open. Shears have to be readjusted; learn how to readjust your shears. The rule of thumb with your shears is the less you sharpen the longer they will last. Find out when is it time to sharpen your shears by using a thumb and nail technique. Make sure you ask your questions and check the shears and scissors you get because some shears are marketed at a high price but do not have high quality hardness to last a hairdresser longer time while working in the salon and doing haircuts.
