First, put on the protective finger shields on the index finger and the middle finger: fingers used in haircutting. You can test the shields to make sure they are safely in place and they work well. Do the haircut as usual; you can use scissors, long shears, razors, and use any haircutting techniques, like blunt cutting, point cutting and razor cutting, but your fingers will be protected from being cut or injured. If a cut occurs, use a band-aid over the treated cut and secure and waterproof it with the finger snip shields. This method will allow the hairdresser, cosmetologists, beauty school students, barbers and salon professionals to continue working without further discomfort of infecting or wetting their injured finger.
To sanitize the finger protectors, use quaternary ammonium compound as you sanitize your cosmetology and barbering implements. This video is for cosmetologist, beauty school students, salon professionals, hairdressers and barbers and anyone who likes to protect their finger while doing haircut with sharp implements/tools; safety precaution for haircutting.
