Razor Haircut: A-line Texturizing
All done by razor; first section the hair, establish a guideline at the nape area with a razor; thin the hair at the back and behind the ear. Cut the hair on the sides of the head by over-directing the hair behind the ears. Cut the top by over-directing the hair to the back section of the head. Use razor to remove bulk, define a haircut, and eliminate bulk and blunt lines. Always cut with a guard on when doing a razor haircut. Use razor for heavy straight thick hair. Learn to make coarse hair soft and manageable with razors. Be advised that razor hair is done on WET hair; otherwise it will pull the hair. Razor helps to have a more edgy haircut than the blunt cut with the scissors. This video teaches razor cutting techniques for beauty school students, cosmetologists, salon professionals, and hairdressers. Hair was cut by Valena; model Nancy, video by BeautyHealthTravel Channel.
