Section the hair for control. Cut the first section at the occipital bone on zero degree elevation, and then start elevating the hair to layer the back section by point cutting with scissors. Elevate the side hair above the ears and cut it combing upwards, and the fringe and the hairline hair forward towards the face. Check your haircut, and then use the thinning shears to add texture to the hair ends.
