Establishing the disinfectant tray is the first operation for State Board Exam for all beauty school students, who take a test to get their license. Sanitation and Disinfection operation is a separate procedure. It requires to disinfect the soiled implements of the previous operation, like haircut or color, that was in the exam book before sanitation.
Procedure for Disinfection; Wash hands with soap and water. Remove the soiled implements from the soiled implement box, remove hair from the implements, scrub with soap and water with a brush, rinse, dry, place in the disinfectant tray and let it disinfect for 10 minutes, wear gloves to remove the implements from the container, rinse and dry them, and place them in the clean implement bag or box. Wash hand to complete the operation.
Procedure for ESTABLISHING THE DISINFECTANT TRAY ( a separate operation at state board; the first operation of the exam)
Wash hands, get the tray(container) and the lid, and the pre-measured QUATS, go to the shampoo bowl, fill the container with water, add the QUATS, cover the lid, wipe the excess water off the lid and container, return it to the shelf, and wash hands
