Color wheel represents all the color bases of the haircolors used by cosmetologists. Color wheel is a guide for cosmetologists to help them determine which colors cancel each other. The color wheel is made of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors. All the primary colors are positioned on the opposite side of the secondary colors and they cancel each other: example: violet cancels yellow, red cancels green... Violet and yellow are complementary colors, so are red and green.
Warm tones are all the colors that have red or/and yellow: yellow, red/orange, red, orange.
Cool colors are all the colors that have blue, violet and green: blue/violet, blue/green, blue, violet, green.
Color intensity refers to how deep the color is; what is the amount of a tone present in the color; example: a strawberry blonde is less intense than level 4 red.
